The journey from 45 to 80

On Saturday, November 30, 2013, we woke up to a temperature of 45 degrees in San Miguel. After our cups of coffee we attacked our last mintue tasks preparing for our departure.  Our friends Bob and Sam arrived at 11:15 am to take us to the bus station. Five plus hours later we were at the Marriott airport hotel.  We had a wonderful dinner at an Italian restaurant in the airport and then headed back to the room for an very early evening.

On Sunday, December 1st the alarm sounded at 3:00 am. Quickly getting ready we headed to the lobby for the 3:40 am shuttle to terminal 2.

Our 6:00 am Copa flight was delayed by almost 1 hour due to early morning fog. However, the pilot made excellent time and we arrived closed to our normal time at the Panama City airport around 10:45 am Panama time.

After eating a Sky Dog we headed to our gate for the 12:20 pm flight, the last leg of our trip to Puerto Rico. We arrived in San Juan at 4:00 pm  local time to 80 degree temperature. We caught a taxi, settled into the condo, bought some supplies at the local market, ate dinner and then we collapsed. Looking forward to our morning beach walks.
